Venson Plugs into EV Debate

Date Posted: 24/01/2012 16:51:33

Leasing and fleet management specialist Venson Automotive Solutions has underlined its commitment to providing fleets with impartial advice and guidance on the growing EV market by announcing that it is to sponsor the “Question Time” style debate at the Electric Vehicle and Low CO2 Fleet Show.

The show promises to attract fleet decision makers from a wide range of industry sectors and with feelings about the future role of EVs in fleet running high, the debating session is certain to raise a few interesting topics for discussion by the expert panel.

Fleet World managing editor Ross Durkin said: “Venson was the first leasing company in the UK to really grasp the nettle where EVs are concerned. Its ride and drive events for fleet customers demonstrated how much interest there was in EVs at the time and with more products coming to the market, this must surely have grown. With such a wealth of experience in the fleet sector we will be delighted to have a representative of Venson on our panel of experts.”

Venson Automotive Solutions’ managing director, Samantha Roff, commented: “It’s essential for us to be able to provide our customers with concise and impartial advice on all vehicles. Interest in the EV market has been growing steadily over the last two years with many fleets reviewing the potential for integrating the technology into their operation. We are sponsoring the debate because we feel this is an excellent way to address both the myths and genuine concerns, in an open and highly expert forum.”
