In 2002, after a selection process, Merseyside Fire Service awarded Venson the contract to pilot a fully managed vehicle service. The pilot car lease scheme, which includes access to Venson’s online quoting system, provides Merseyside Fire Service with fully maintained vehicles and transfers all depreciation risk to Venson. The scheme is currently open to all senior officers. A forthcoming review will determine whether the scheme is rolled out to other officers.

The pilot scheme has generated much interest and its success is being closely monitored by other Fire Services.
