A new, ultra-efficient version of the Audi A3 1.6 TDI - already claimed to be the most economical premium sector car with the lowest CO2 output - is now available to order, extending the compact hatchback’s lead by paring back CO2 output to 99g/km and combined cycle economy up to 74.3mpg.
Only available in three-door hatchback configuration and Standard trim, the model costs £18,005 on-the-road. Equipment includes 15-inch alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, remote central locking, electric front windows and a radio with single CD player.
All other variations of the 1.6 TDI continue to offer 68.9 mpg potential and 109 g/km CO2 output.
